Second Saturday of every month throughout

the year, our New Shop is open to the community with free clothes and small household items. The shop is also a gathering space for community and church members to enjoy each other over a snack. Sometimes a family is burned out or in crisis, so we open the shop to them personally. To make a donation, please call the church office.

Wilkinsburg Sanctuary Project for Peace

Born out of the loss of too many young people to gun violence, the Wilkinsburg Sanctuary Project for Peace is a grassroots initiative to end gun violence and to provide enrichment for our youth as we raise up Wilkinsburg as a wonderful community in which to live, work, got to school, and worship. Several leading congregations work alongside nonprofits to provide outreach to our youth and to be a presence of peace on our streets. Annualy, we provide an Interfaith Prayer Vigil on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, a youth Art and Talent Show for Peace, and a weeklong service and eucation camp called Project Peace.
